Add each item’s dry weight multiplied by its quantity to estimate a laundry load. This calculator offers named published examples and accepts your measurements. Compare the total with the applicable programme limit; the result is a mass comparison and does not establish drum space or care compatibility.
Build a load from items you actually wash
Filter the item list, enter quantities and replace example weights with your measured values when available. Selected items continue to count when hidden by a filter. If an item has no supported example, supply a custom dry weight; a missing weight is not zero.
Reference values include historical Bosch and Beko manual examples and specific garments. They are useful starting points, not universal averages for every garment size.

A simple laundry-weight calculation
Four towels at an illustrative 0.7 kg each plus two items at 0.3 kg each total 3.4 kg. Your own measurements can change that total substantially. Weigh the basket empty and full, or measure manageable groups, to obtain a household reference.
The displayed interval follows the available reference ranges; it is not a statistical confidence interval. A weight below a limit still needs compatible labels and the prescribed loading arrangement.
Common questions
Are weights dry or wet?
Use dry laundry weights when comparing a dry-load programme allowance.
Why is a blanket weight missing?
Unsupported items require your measurement rather than an invented reference. The known subtotal remains incomplete until that weight is supplied.
Can I convert pounds into kilograms?
Yes. The tool converts mass units with defined factors. It does not convert drum volume or tog into mass.
