This version uses local preferences
The public calculators do not set application cookies. Hosted Workspace sign-in uses the hosting provider's authentication cookies. WashSage uses browser local storage for preferences: washsage-theme (light or dark), washsage-consent (optional measurement permission) and washsage-consent-version (which consent description you accepted). These values contain no calculator input or visitor identifier.
Optional saved tool settings
When you choose to save it, washsage-laundry-setup-v2 keeps reviewed settings in local storage. Deliberate tool handoffs use session storage (washsage-tool-transfer-v2 and washsage-par-target-preview-v2) and expire after one hour. These contain the inputs you choose to share, not advertising profiles. Clear them in My Laundry Setup, dismiss a preview, or remove this site’s browser data. Calculator use does not require saving.
Optional analytics
Optional first-party measurement counts public page views and tool actions only after you allow the current consent. Daily totals contain no visitor identifiers. Browser privacy signals keep it off. The footer’s Privacy choices control can revoke permission immediately. See the privacy policy for fields, retention and limitations.
Deleting preferences
Clear this website’s stored data in your browser settings to remove these preferences.
Advertising cookies are not active yet
WashSage plans to support free tools through advertising. This version does not load AdSense ads or set Google advertising cookies. The current measurement preference does not grant advertising consent. Before ads are enabled, a separate advertising consent setup and updated provider/storage details will apply. See our privacy policy and advertising disclosure.
